What’s the Southern way?
The Southern way is a slow relaxed style of living, but don’t put it past a Southern boy to knock you out if you are acting up.

I can’t help but notice that you carry a gun. What kind of gun do you carry?
I carry a Glock-19. It’s a small gun, but my aim is on so I don’t need much more stopping power than that.

You’ve had your fair share of injuries (climbing and non-climbing related). What is your advise on dealing with injuries?
I’ve bumped my head a few times and tangoed with a few car accidents. I have even decked while soloing due to a hold breaking. My advice to those who get injured is take what life gives you and make the best of it. There is not much you can do once injury strikes.

Lastly, a few random questions. What is your favorite climbing moment?
Everything from the day I started to now.

Who inspires you?
I am inspired by anyone that doesn’t give up despite all odds and overcomes.

What is the best advise anyone ever gave you?
Stop bitching and keep working.

What mark do you want to make?
I would like for the things I do in life to echo in eternity.

What do you still hope to accomplish?
I never thought I would have accomplished what I have already accomplished. I might as well see what I can do before I die.
