What is it like being a college student and climber?
Whenever classes get really intense, it is extremely hard to go anywhere else but the local climbing gym. It has been really hard for me to manage my time properly and have the necessary discipline to sit down and study on a Sunday morning when I have tons of options to climb and many climbers to climb with.
Has anyone had a major influence on your climbing?
Kynan Waggoner and Mike Moelter; not only do they provide good advice and contacts, but they also try to teach me how to be an all-around true climber. Also, Gustavo Abello, my climbing coach in Colombia, introduced me to the sport, taught me the principles of training that I still use today, and gave me a whole new perspective on climbing.
What inspires you? The fact the one can do amazing things with the human body and cross physical boundaries that were once thought [impossible].
What was the last concert you went to? I saw my brother's band, Imperial, at a show in FL.
