Sport Climbing in Alberta
Photos by Nick Croken / www.redlinephoto.ca - Nick Croken is a photographer based out of Edmonton, Alberta. Although most of his work is commercial and automotive based he is out climbing every weekend and often finds himself shooting from above at the people below. This gallery is a small selection of what Alberta has to offer at areas near Calgary, Jasper, and Canmore. Stay tuned for future galleries to come featuring more beautiful Alberta rock.

You have to cross a raging river to get to the Watch Tower. When you are climbing you are put in a zen like state as all you can hear is the river below. No beta shout outs, or takes at this crag! Photo by Nick Croken / www.redlinephoto.ca

An hour of 4x4 access only trails brings to you a secluded and often ignored climbing area know as The Ghost. Hosting a plethora of sport and gear multi pitches in the summer and even more ice climbing in the winter this is as close to heaven as one may ever get.
