When I was first asked to be a part of Urban Climber’s Pro Blog Team I was very apprehensive. My Dad always told me “Son, sometimes its better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you’re an idiot, then to open it and remove all doubt.” Besides, what the hell is a blog? And why would people want to read what I have to say about anything anyways?
Rock climbing is literally my life. Every single day of my life I talk about rock climbing in some form or fashion. Not only have I been a sponsored climber for the latter part of my “career” but I am also the Southeastern sales rep for several brands. When my life was turned upside down and I was stuck in a living nightmare, rock climbing was there to help me back up. Rock climbing is not just about scaling a piece of stone. It’s also about the friendships and relationships that arise from a common bond. For some of us it becomes a lifestyle.
As I begin this new chapter of “blogging” here at Urban Climber I hope you take my words for what they are: my words. I’ll give you some insight in to my life and at times I’ll be a little opinionated/biased. You don’t have to agree with me on everything I say. After all you are your own person. You do you and I’ll do me. Hopefully we’ll get some entertainment out of it all before it’s all over with. Welcome to my UC Pro Blog!
Special thanks to my crew:
Stay up,
Lee
