SANUK HIRED THIS GUY, LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE!

By Bron Heussenstamm / www.sanuk.com

May 11, 2009 - Irvine - Sanuk, the cure for bored feet, hired this guy to create something called a “website.”

In an unprecedented move, Sanuk decided to hire this guy (shown here) and let him tinker with the computer recently found in the company’s Irvine warehouse. Together, using electricity, they launch Sanuk’s new website!

“We really didn’t expect much. The new guy is nice and all, but we hired him more for his style than technical know-how,” explains Sanuk Founder, Jeff Kelley.

After years of work, this guy said: “The website features the complete line of Sanuk products, dealer locators, information on the team, exclusive videos, community blogs, and whole lot of smiles.”

Sanuk intern, Jim Comfyfoot, furthered this guy’s statement: “The site is really open for communication. From product reviews to blog and video comments, we look forward to interacting with people who are as passionate about footwear as we are. This guy did a fantastic job.”

Surf to the site and enjoy Donavon Frankenreiter’s personal welcome. Feet everywhere rejoice!

Founded in 1997 by Southern California native Jeff Kelley, Sanuk provides creatively inspired yet distinctively designed footwear products for the global outdoor community. Taking its name from the Thai word for fun, Sanuk strives to make innovative products that are as much about funk as they are about function.

Honored with the SIMA 2007 Footwear Product of the Year and the 2009 Irvine Soft Bocce Champions, Sanuk’s Sidewalk Surfers are known as "Not-A-Shoes" for their comfort and patented sandal construction. Sanuk continues to dance with a broad spectrum of premier superheroes including spider-man Chris Sharma and dolphin Dave Rastovich. Sanuk products are now smiling in over 50 countries worldwide.

Smile… Pass it on…
