Legislators and patients to staff panels discussing need for responsible reform

DENVER, CO — On Saturday, December 19, 2009, the state's leading medical marijuana advocacy group, Sensible Colorado, will host a community "Stakeholder" meeting at the University of Denver Law School. This first of its kind gathering will feature panels comprised of medical marijuana patients, legislators, and business leaders-- all joined together to discuss impending regulation in this quickly developing field.

"This unique forum will give equal say to both State Senators and AIDS survivors," said Brian Vicente, event organizer and head of Sensible Colorado. "Each has a valid viewpoint, and both will be heard on Saturday."

This free event is designed to elicit maximum participation from individuals who will be effected by changes in the medical marijuana law. The event will feature three panels comprised of business leaders, patients, legislators, and policymakers. A full list of event details, including featured panelists, is pasted below.
