FostWare Media announces the release of their Climbing Guide app for the iPhone and iPod Touch

Climbing Guide boasts guides for over 500 routes and boulder problems in California, Utah, Nevada and Colorado with future plans to add more.

The app also serves as a reference to rock climbing terms, rating systems, knots and workouts. Workout logs and suggested climbs are customizable based on skill and experience.

Climbing Guide
Climbing Guide has finally reached the app store. Find guides/topos of some of your favorite areas like Yosemite, Little Cottonwood Canyon and Rifle. There will be more areas available in future that will be free with an upgrade. If there is a specific area you would like to see in the app, please feel free to contact us. Any corrections can be reported to fostware@ymail.com. They will be posted on this site and updated with upgraded versions.

The Climbing Guide app has a lot of features that make it special. For example, you can customize your profile so the app will suggest routes that fit your climbing style. Look for a tutorial on the many features. It is a great way to learn how to use the app to get the most of your climbing experience.

Climbing Guide Lite
Climbing Guide Lite contains all of the elements featured in the full version of Climbing Guide with the exception of the guides/topos. There is currently not an option on the iTunes store that will allow you to upgrade from the Lite version to the full version.
