On Saturday, get your day started at the Boulder Rock Club with one of the two yoga classes and a continental breakfast. We are pleased to partner with the Boulder Rock Club & Colorado Mountain School to provide professional guides for the climbing activities. We can accommodate everyone who is learning to climb to those who warm up on 5.12! No climbing gear? No problem! All required gear will be available to check out from the Boulder Rock Club. Want to try out a new harness, helmet, or pair of shoes? Petzl and Evolve will be on hand to check-out demo gear. Hiking participants this year will have a choice beforehand between several hikes that are easy, moderate, or strenuous. All hikes will be led and followed by HERA hiking volunteers. - Outdoor Skills Clinics & Massage
After climbing and hiking, head back to the Boulder Rock Club for a relaxing chair or table massage session, and NEW this year are the skills clinics in the afternoon such as a bouldering clinic with Jason Kehl & Olivia Hsu, a wilderness first aid basics clinic with Ashby Robertson, and more! - Summit Party & After-Party
Come celebrate the day's achievements at the Summit Party at Foothills Community Park in North Boulder. Delicious food and beverages provided by Sublime Catering, Avery Brewing Company, Redwood Creek, and Eldorado Natural Spring Water. Dinner menu includes vegan and gluten-free offerings. Later, dance the night away at the Climb for Life After-Party, hosted by Bácaro Venetian Taverna. - Fundraising, Giveaways & Prizes
Fundraising for HERA's programs for ovarian cancer research grants and education and awareness initiatives is the cornerstone of the Climb for Life events, and we encourage everyone to raise at least $250. As an added incentive, for every $100 you raise for HERA between March 11-June 11, 2010, you will receive one additional entry into the gear giveaway. Awesome prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 individual fundraisers and the top fundraising team.

Our fundraising goal for HERA Climb for Life Colorado 2010 is $75,000. Last year's event raised over $60,000 for HERA and attracted 153 participants, volunteers, and professional athletes. Let's continue and honor the legacy of Sean Patrick by making 2010 our biggest event yet!

To stop the loss of mothers, daughters, wives, partners and girlfriends from ovarian cancer through empowering:

* Research Scientists to find new directions in early detection, treatment, and prevention, and

Our Vision
We are a nationally recognized ovarian cancer nonprofit organization funding cutting edge research grants to leading young scientists at respected medical institutions. In so doing we expand the scientific understanding of ovarian cancer while improving the lives of those battling this disease.
Through our programs of awareness of symptoms, education, and medical access as well as our Climb for Life and auxilliary special events, we empower healthy women and those undergoing treatment. We are well led by an outstanding Executive Director and committed Board of Directors and supported by young scientist researchers, their organizations, over 55 firms, hundreds of climbing leaders, and over a thousand yearly participants. We are committed to continue investing 85% of the money raised for research, awareness, education, and support.
