24 Hours of Horseshoe Hell - 2009
This year’s weekend of fun (and hell) will kick off on September 25-27th, 2009, and promises to be the biggest and best yet. 24 Hours of Horseshoe Hell is an endurance style climbing competition held at the ever popular Horseshoe Canyon Ranch near Jasper, Arkansas.

Bloqueando 2009 - Event Report
Since 2007 this boulderer gathering has been the ultimate event for Bolivian climbers with a good mix of exciting problems, friendship and a party environment. The Valley of the Rocks, or Valle De Las Rocas, is located 750 km south of La Paz and 150 km away from the city of Uyuni. This place has been described by the French boulder Tony Lamiche as the El Dorado of bouldering areas.
Reel Rock Film Tour Showing to benefit Kismet Rock Foundation
The 4th Annual Reel Rock Film Tour will be making an appearance in North Conway, New Hampshire on Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the climbing wall in Cranmore Family Fitness Center. The Event is being hosted by and will benefit Kismet Rock Foundation, a North Conway-based non-profit providing valuable climbing instruction and education to youth from the New England area.
Eighth Annual HERA Climb4Life Utah - September 17-20
Registration is under way for the Eighth Annual HERA Climb4Life Utah, to be held Sept. 17-20, 2009. The rock climbing fund-raising event for the HERA Women's Cancer Foundation, presented and hosted by Black Diamond Climbing Equipment raised over $100,000 in 2008 for HERA's ovarian cancer research and awareness programs.

Eiter and Puigblanque Reign Supreme at Rock Master 2009
Angela Eiter from Austria has won her fifth Rock Master, Ramòn Julien Puigblanque his fourth. With these victories the two equal the records set by legendary climbers Lynn Hill and Francois Legrand. Champions at times move you. Never before has this been closer to the truth. 2009 ARCO ROCK LEGENDS AWARD CERMONY
Chris Sharma won the Salewa Rock Award and Kilian Fischhuber won the La Sportiva Competition Award - The Salewa Rock Award and the La Sportiva Competition Award were handed out in front of a packed crowd which went wild as the Jury's verdict for the climbing Oscars were announced; for the rock category the 17 international specialized magazines had chosen Chris Sharma, alias the King, while the competition category went to none other than Kilian Fischhuber.
ARCO ROCK LEGENDS IV
The nominations have been decided for the 4th edition of the Arco Rock Legends, scheduled to take place on September 4th, 2009 at Arco (Garda Trentino, Italy) on the eve of the XXIII Rock Master. The SALEWA ROCK AWARD and the LA SPORTIVA COMPETITION AWARD, the sport climbing Oscars, are up for grabs.
The 23rd Rock Master and 4th Arco Rock Legends
The 23rd Rock Master, the classic sport climbing competition for the champions, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 5-6, 2009, in Arco (Lake Garda, Trentino, Italy). The 4th Arco Rock Legends will prelude the event on Friday, September 4th with the Salewa Rock Award and the La Sportiva Competition Award, the sport climbing Oscars.
2009 Mountain Summit in Aspen, CO
Mountain Summit is a slimmed down version of the four day Mountainfilm in Telluride festival that will be held August 27-30, 2009 in Aspen, Colorado at the Wheeler Opera House. This year both Jim Whittaker and Ed Viesturs will be there, in person.

2009 Squamish Mountain Festival
August 12-16, 2009 in Squamish, BC - Returning for 2009, the 3rd annual Squamish Mountain Festival is ramping up to draw in locals and visitors alike. Bloqueando Bouldering Competition – Challcupuncu, Bolivia 2008
